Employed Physician Opportunities
Stoughton Hospital is seeking a respected and skilled community minded orthopedic surgeon to provide the full spectrum of orthopedic surgery services. The Orthopedic Surgeon would be working with a premier, nationally renowned orthopedist with a robust and growing practice; with a strong existing referral base, and knowledgeable and experienced staff. The specialty practice includes, but is not limited to Birmingham hip resurfacing and customized (ConforMis) knee replacement.
Stoughton Hospital is an independent hospital located just 20 minutes south of Madison, Wisconsin along Dane County’s chain of lakes. The Orthoteam clinic is operated on Madison’s west-side with surgical support provided at Stoughton Hospital with easy access to MRI, CT, X-Ray and ultrasound services. Stoughton Hospital is independently operated with formal and informal affiliations to larger health systems in the region. Known for its culture of service and quality excellence, Stoughton Hospital consistently ranks in the 90th percentile or greater with patient, employee and PHYSICIAN satisfaction. Support to this position is provided from Hospitalist program, a collegial clinician team and an EPIC electronic health record.
The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible, possession or ability to possess unrestricted Wisconsin medical license, and successfully completed an accredited orthopedic surgical residency program. Call responsibilities include weekday inpatient support with a team of advanced level practitioners and weekend call shared between existing partners; not to exceed 1:3.
