Mental Health: What If We Talk About It?

Presented by a registered nurse from the Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation*, this one-hour session will teach participants about mental health with an emphasis on mental health as a vital component to overall wellness. Content discusses mental health disorders, protective factors, screening, and seeking professional help.

The session will cover:

  • Mental health as an important of whole health
  • Ways in which mental health can be affected
  • Challenging the mental health stigma
  • Caring for mental health

Handouts on the topic and a small gift will be available for participants at the end of the session.
