Stoughton Hospital Home Health has been named a Top Agency of the 2018 HomeCare Elite®, recognition of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. For more than thirteen years, HomeCare Elite has annually identified the top 25 percent of Medicare-certified agencies and top 500 agencies overall.

The ranking is developed by ABILITY® Network, a leading information technology company. Home health agencies are ranked by an analysis of publicly available performance measures in quality outcomes, best practice implementation, patient experience (Home Health CAHPS®), quality improvement and consistency, and financial performance.

“I would like to congratulate the team at Stoughton Hospital Home Health and thank them for their commitment to providing consistently high-quality care,” said Christine Lang, senior director for ABILITY Network. “During a time of increasing demands on home health professionals’ time and attention, these caregivers and leaders have demonstrated that they have prioritized their patients and created a solid foundation for serving their communities and partnering with other healthcare providers.”

Julie Stenbroten, Stoughton Hospital Home Health Manager, also credits the Home Health staff’s dedication to patient care as what sets Stoughton Hospital apart from other organizations.  “We pride ourselves on seeing the patient within 24 hours of receiving care orders. We know these patients need both the care and reassurance that we are going to be there for them,” said Stenbroten.
